Victoria

Saturday 5 April - Afternoon at the Seaside - 2.00 - 5.00pm.
Gathering at the Mornington Library to hear Meredith Horton from Farrell's Bookstore talk about the bookseller's role in selling and promoting children's books and author/illustrator talks and book signings. Afternoon tea included, members and non-members.

Saturday 28 June - Winter Afternoon at La Notte Restaurant - 2.00 - 5.00pm.
At this meeting we will hear from an Editor from the Society of Editors to talk about an editor's range of tasks, manuscript submissions and what makes their job easier ~ covering picture books to novels. Afternoon tea included, members and non-members.

Friday 19 September - Springtime Evening at La Notte Restaurant - 6.00 - 9.00pm.
Kay Keck, Director of Dromkeen will talk about her passion for this wonderful and unique place. Dromkeen is situated in a historic National Trust classified homestead. It is the home of the Australian Children's Literature Collection, a unique collection of original artwork, manuscripts and other pre-publication material from Australian children's books. Dromkeen undertakes educational programs, hosts school visits and conducts research into Australian children's literature. Drinks and finger food will be included. Members and non-members.

Friday 21 November - Pre-Christmas Dinner Celebration at La Notte Restaurant - 7.00pm. onwards. A time for all members to get together to celebrate the year and Christmas.
