Comments

Bounder & Beaky LOVE Tokyo. They were guest speakers at the Society of Children's Writers and Illustrators get together and were humbled meeting so many outstanding talented author/illustrators such as Naomi Kojima and the lovely illustrator Yoko Yoshizawa.

Yoko took them to meet Hachiko, the famous loyal Akita dog. They were thrilled to meet Japanese furry friends.

They also visited the awesome giant Buddha in Kamakura and then hiked up a steep mountain path through a plum orchard to the shrine of the fox. Visitors leave offerings of fried tofu. The local squirrels and raccoons have a midnight feast.

Bounder and Beaky were tempted to hang here all night and join in the funny feast.

While visiting the international schools they met children from over forty nations, they elected to have lunch with the kids in the cafeteria. The children thought they were the cutest things since sliced bread.
