Welcome to the online home of the Australian and New Zealand chapter of the SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators). The SCBWI is a professional organisation that acts as a network for children's authors, illustrators, editors and publishers. There are over 22,000 members in more than 70 regions worldwide. In Australia and New Zealand we have a strong and active network.
The inaugural Silver Kite will be presented at the 3rd SCBWI Australia and New Zealand conference in Sydney in September.
